The Computer Science Department offers an array of one-semester elective classes designed to appeal to a variety of interests. Students are required to take one semester of computer science classes as a graduation requirement.
The Department of Classical and Modern Languages at Regis Jesuit High School prepares students to live in a global, multilingual world by offering an academically rigorous and culturally enriching program in French, Latin and Spanish with courses from beginning through Advanced Placement.
The English Department’s curriculum is designed to prepare students for college and the years beyond. Students follow a four-year sequence of courses which includes English 1, British and World Literature, American Literature, and senior electives.
The Boys Division Humanities and Fine Arts department is dedicated to keeping the Jesuit tradition of fine arts as a core foundation in our students' education. We adhere to the belief that well-rounded young men must be versed in the arts, for it is in the arts where they show their creativity, talent and passion.
The Mathematics Department at Regis Jesuit High School is designed to fulfill the needs of college-capable students of varying mathematical abilities. We offer a multi-sequence program of courses to provide each student a demanding, rewarding and relevant mathematical education based upon his aptitude and achievement.
The Boys Division Physical Education Department is based on a hallmark of Jesuit education - cura personalis, the care and concern for the individual. Teachers work to develop the student's knowledge and encourage the implementation of a healthy lifestyle.
The Regis Jesuit High School Science Department provides a strong college preparatory curriculum to meet the varied needs of the Regis Jesuit students. Upon graduation the student will have the knowledge and skills needed for college success.
The social studies curriculum offers both a strong core and a unique list of special focus subjects that will fulfill the student's needs and interests. Students will experience classrooms filled with topics of a political, economic, religious, social, intellectual and artistic nature, all delivered through varied methodologies from lectures, to discussions, to seminars.
Students in theology are asked to encounter the deepest questions about God, themselves and creation, as they make a journey that begins with fundamental Catholic teaching and culminates in advanced reflection on what it means to be a person of faith.
