Activities
September 10 - Back to School Dance Information
The goal of the Regis Jesuit High School Activities Program is for every student to become involved in something outside of the classroom while attending Regis Jesuit. Activities and sports offer students an opportunity for self-development. We are committed to educating the "whole person" and a full range of athletic, non-athletic, and service-oriented activities are offered.
Activities and athletics provide opportunities for students to enhance talents and develop skills outside of the traditional classroom setting. They provide a nurturing environment in which friendships can flourish. Students and teachers get to know each other on a different level than classroom interactions. In addition, activities and competitions bring special feelings of achievement to students, and challenge them to spend time wisely. Students who participate are more well-rounded individuals. Participants realize that it is both a privilege and an honor to represent the Regis Jesuit High School community. Exemplary conduct and sportsmanship are expected of all Regis Jesuit competitors.
Regis Jesuit High School takes pride in its activity and athletic programs. Clubs are student driven and are constantly changing. Be sure to talk personally to the moderator of each activity in which you have an interest. Then join an activity that suits your interest. Finally, keep in mind, it is more important to pursue one or two activities in depth than to take on more activities than you can do well.

The school policy will be disseminated to all students and families and will be available on the school’s website at a later date.
Penalties for violating the athletic code or the rules for the extracurricular activity can vary from temporary denial of participation to permanent dismissal. It may also mean loss of the privilege of participation for a few days or for an entire year. The coach of the sport or the extracurricular moderator involved, acting in conjunction with the administration, will decide on an appropriate penalty.
