The Climbers at Regis Jesuit
Installed in the Boys Division of Regis Jesuit High School, the nine figures “climbing to the top” are meant to inspire the spirit of work, achievement and excellence to the students of this fine school. This sculpture was made possible thanks to the vision and patronage of Fr. Phil Steele, SJ '66 and Dr. Wayne Yakes.

Support RJ

All fundraising at the school must support the school’s mission, build community, provide essential financial resources and contribute to an outstanding Jesuit education for all students, which enables them to become Men and Women with and for Others.

—Regis Jesuit Fundraising Philosophy

The Advancement Office Mission is to "Foster community to ensure the school’s mission and financial stability."

It is with dedication from our community and careful design of our programs that we are able to fulfill this mission.

Support of alumni, parents, friends, students and employees affirms commitment to this community’s mission, and makes it possible for us to provide the tools needed to teach and mold our students. As partners, we are investing not just in education, but in the formation of Men and Women with and for Others.

The Advancement Office also directs all alumni relations, and communicates the school’s mission and activities through The Raider magazine, Annual Report and electronic communications.

Feasibility Study Update

Here is the summary of the results of the feasibility study conducted by Steier Group to assess the readiness of Regis Jesuit for a possible capital campaign. We extend a special word of thanks to those of you who participated in the study. 145 individuals or couples met personally with the Steier consultant, Peter Henning, while an additional 379 completed the online/mail survey. The responses provide extremely valuable input as we look to chart the future of Regis Jesuit High School.

Based on the information gathered, representatives of the Steier Group reported their findings and recommendations to the Board of Trustees on June 19, 2010. Here are some of their observations:

• Endowment support for faculty compensation and tuition assistance were confirmed as very high priorities.
• The need to upgrade our performing arts facilities and create a new multi-use building is viewed as the campus’ most critical new construction project.
• Eighty-seven percent (87%) of the respondents indicated that they were in favor of Regis Jesuit High School embarking on a fundraising effort in order to achieve its long-term goals.

From these statistics, additional responses to survey questions, and the positive feedback received in the study, the Steier Group recommended that Regis Jesuit immediately begin preparations for a major fundraising initiative. The Board of Trustees has endorsed this recommendation, and has decided to continue the process begun in the feasibility study. We intend to vigorously explore securing the kind of resources that will make our strategic priorities a reality. We are certainly encouraged by the level of participation and support seen during the study and are very excited about the future of Regis Jesuit.

We will continue to post updates throughout the process on our website and in other publications deemed appropriate. Thank you for your ongoing support of Regis Jesuit.
