Transportation

Overview

The Regis Jesuit bus service provides safe and reliable transportation for Regis Jesuit students on standard school buses to the school's campus in Aurora. The RJ Red Line comes from downtown and goes along Speer, Alameda, Leetsdale and Parker Roads to the school. The White Line starts at RTD's Mineral light rail station and travels along County Line Road making several stops before arriving at the campus. The Regis Jesuit High School Blue Line starts at Plum Creek Parkway in Castle Rock and makes a variety of stops along the southern corridor on the way to school. The Regis Jesuit High School Green Line starts at the Colorado Mills Mall and makes a variety of stops along the southwest corridor on the way to school.

This site also contains information about RTD's service to the school from neighboring cities, Ride Arrangers carpooling and transportation from Boulder.

Scheduled Late Start Days

On days that Regis Jesuit is on a one-hour scheduled late start for both divisions, the buses will run one hour later. This is typically every Wednesday. Therefore, if the bus picks up at 7:15 am normally, it would pick up at 8:15 am.

If there is a two-hour scheduled late start, the buses will run on the one-hour late start timetables.

Late Start Due to Weather Delays

If there is a one-hour weather delay, the buses will run on the normal pick-up times. There will not be delayed pick-ups.

When there is a two-hour late start due to a weather delay, the Regis Jesuit bus schedule will delay pick-up times for one hour from the regularly scheduled pick-up time.

Transportation Options

The Regis Jesuit bus service provides safe, consistent and reliable transportation on a standard school bus to Regis Jesuit for all interested families. Regis Jesuit High School has contracted with MV Transportation to provide transportation on a standard school bus each day school is in session. Currently planned routes and times listed below are tentative and can be adjusted slightly based on final reservations made by Regis Jesuit families for their sons and daughters. Routes have been planned to facilitate students getting a ride with parents to the major bus stops, connecting to the Regis Jesuit bus from major RTD bus routes or walking to the bus stop. The Regis Jesuit buses will also stop at several major RTD Park-and-Rides to collect students coming in from other areas. Stops generally have adequate shelter and waiting areas for students that often include shops and food establishments.
