The purpose of the Counseling Department at Regis Jesuit High School is to promote, support and enhance student development as outlined in the Profile of the Graduate at Graduation document. The counselors provide students academic, college/career and personal/social counseling in a variety of settings. Our goals include helping students think critically, advocate for themselves, and take responsibility for their actions and decisions. Implied in the process is the counselors’ willingness to model what they strive to elicit from their counselees: an attitude of openness, acceptance, honesty and compassion.
