Mr. Michael L. Reidy '72
Chairman of the Board
Mike joined the Board of Trustees in June of 2005, and was elected chair of the board in 2008. His association with Regis Jesuit goes way back. He graduated in 1972 and his two sons, Patrick ’04 and Timothy ’05, followed in their father’s footsteps. Mike’s daughters, Molly ’12 and Catherine ’09, have continued the family connection to the school in the Girls Division. Mike has been an active fundraiser for Regis Jesuit since the early 1980s, and became heavily involved in planning the Girls Division. He has been a member of the Audit and Finance Committee for many years. Mike is the senior vice-president of procurement, logistics and business development for Leprino Foods Company.
Mr. Sean Agniel
Sean Agniel serves as the Provincial’s Assistant for Secondary and Pre-Secondary Education for the Jesuits of the Missouri Province. A graduate of a Jesuit high school, Sean is a former theology teacher and pastoral associate at Rockhurst High School (Kansas City). After receiving a master of divinity from the University of Notre Dame, Sean served as the Jesuit Provincial’s Assistant for Social and International Ministries. He has worked closely with the faculty and administration of Regis Jesuit the last three years as the director of the Alum Service Corps. He and his wife, Susan, have two children and are expecting their third.
Mr. Gregory Armstrong
Greg, a past recipient of the Regis Jesuit High School John Francis Regis Award, was nominated to the Regis Jesuit Board of Trustees in 2003 and currently serves as Chair of the Capital Projects Committee. He and his wife Carol have four grown children - Jarrett ’93, Clay ’95, Bryan ’99 and Erin. Outside of Regis Jesuit, Greg serves as Managing Director of the Trammell Crow Company. The company, one of the largest full-service real estate services and development companies in the United States, has developed in excess of $225 million of commercial and residential product in the greater Denver area.
Mr. Tony Bolazina
Tony Bolazina is the president of Northern Trust’s operations in Denver as well as a board member for Downtown Denver, Inc. and a recent trustee of the Colorado Symphony. He also serves on the Executive Board for Boy Scouts, Denver Area Council, and the advisory boards for the Alliance for Choice in Education (ACE) and the University of Colorado at Denver School of Business. He was awarded the Alumni Leadership Award for 2006 from the Alumni Association of the University of Colorado at Denver. Tony holds a bachelor’s degree from DePauw University and a master’s degree from the JL Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. Tony and his wife, Amy, have two children. Jenna graduated from the Girls Division in 2008, and Connor is a member of the class of 2011 in the Boys Division.
Mr. Bert Bondi
Bert Bondi, an alumnus of the University of Notre Dame, founded Bondi & Co. LLC Certified Public Accountants and Management Consultants in 1976 after spending four years with Price Waterhouse and four years as partner in a Colorado CPA firm that was the forerunner to his current firm. He has served on the board of directors of a Colorado bank and is past president of the Metropolitan State College Foundation Board of Governors. Bert currently chairs the Regis Jesuit Audit and Finance Committee. He is the father of two Regis Jesuit boys. Nicholas graduated from the Boys Division in 2008, and Christopher is in the class of 2012.
Mrs. Julie J. Bunsness
Julie Bunsness, a Denver native, comes from a family with a strong banking and real estate background. She is a graduate of Gonzaga University. Julie worked in the insurance industry for several years, gaining experience in underwriting, systems training and programming. She is a Seeds of Hope Ambassador and combines her love of numbers, teaching and volunteering by tutoring math at St. Ignatius Loyola elementary school. Julie also serves as treasurer of a family education foundation and frequently volunteers at Regis Jesuit. Julie and her husband Brian have four children. The three eldest have attended or are currently attending Regis Jesuit — Matthew ’09, Jeffrey ’10 and Emma ’12.
Mr. Stacy Campbell
Stacey Campbell joined the Board of Trustees in June 2010. He is an attorney with Littler Mendelson PC where he focuses on employment litigation and policy. His undergraduate degree is from Kansas State University and he earned his law degree at the University of Kansas. Stacey has previously served on the boards of the American Red Cross of Greater Kansas City, the Youth Volunteer Corp of America and the Missouri Organization of Defense Lawyers. He and his wife Michelle have two sons. Alan, the elder, is a member of Regis Jesuit’s class of 2014.
Rev. Elbert 'Bert' V. Chilson
Fr. Bert Chilson was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. He graduated from Jesuit-run University of Detroit High School in 1970 and went on to Sacred Heart Seminary in the Archdiocese of Detroit. Fr. Bert’s family moved to Colorado in 1971, so he transferred to St. Thomas Seminary for theological studies in 1974. He was ordained in the Archdiocese of Denver in 1978. Since ordination, Fr. Bert has served as a parochial vicar and pastor all over the archdiocese including four years in the archdiocesan mission in Monteria, Colombia. He is currently pastor of St. Therese Parish & School in Aurora.
Ms. Molly Cohen
Molly Jenkins Cohen is one of twelve children, ten of whom attended Creighton University, where Molly earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing. While there she served in the Dominican Republic as a member of a health care team in the rural villages, which was the highlight of her education and has shaped her life ever since. Molly currently works as an orthopedic nurse clinician at The Children’s Hospital in Denver, where she also gained experience in strategic planning. She is actively involved in her children’s schools and a dedicated volunteer in the wider community. Molly and her husband, Rob, have four children. Her family’s longstanding tradition of Jesuit education continues with two Raider sons - Jackson ’10 and Cooper ’12.
Mr. Fred J. Diss '79
Fred Diss is a shareholder in the Denver law firm of Robinson, Diss and Clowdus, PC, where he has practiced since 1986, primarily in the areas of professional corporations, ERISA, taxation and estate planning. Fred is active in professional organizations, is a former Chair of the Taxation Law Section of the Colorado Bar Association and has served on the CBA Board of Directors. Fred is a 1979 graduate of Regis Jesuit High School. After graduating from Regis College, he received his law degree from the University of Denver. He and his wife, Annette, are the proud parents of Brian ’03 and Meagan, an alumna of Mullen and Santa Clara University. Fred and Annette have been loyal supporters of Regis Jesuit—in addition to volunteer work, Annette worked in the Business Office several years ago and Fred serves as a member of the Institutional Advancement Committee.
Mrs. Margaret Kelly
From the moment Margaret walked into Regis Jesuit High School, she knew it was the right place for her sons, Patrick ’04 and Michael ’08. Margaret and her husband John try to be as active as possible within the community of Regis Jesuit. They are particularly devoted to helping students attend Regis Jesuit who otherwise could not afford to do so. They haven’t missed a LARK, and they have been instrumental in the success of The Fall Classic at Sanctuary golf tournament since its inception. Margaret is also an active member of the Alumni Moms of Regis Jesuit. She has worked for RE/MAX since 1987 and currently serves as chief executive officer for RE/MAX International, Inc.
Mrs. Eileen McCallin
Born in Los Angeles, Calif., Eileen was the fourth of ten children who grew up and attended Catholic primary and secondary schools in Fresno, Calif. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Mount St. Mary’s College in Los Angeles and worked as a case worker for troubled girls at the Good Shepherd Home for delinquent girls. Eileen moved to Denver when she married Dan McCallin ’67, who served on the Regis Jesuit board from 1996-2005. They have three children who attended St. Therese School in Aurora, where Eileen served as president of the board. Colin ’96 and Conor ’98 went on to graduate from Regis Jesuit High School and Corra graduated from St. Mary’s Academy. From there, all three children went on to graduate from Jesuit universities. After a 20-year career in the criminal justice system as a probation officer, the last 15 years of which were spent in Arapahoe County with the Sex Offender Unit, Eileen retired in 2005.
Rev. Gerard Menard, SJ
Fr. Menard is a graduate of numerous Jesuit schools including Saint Louis University High School, Saint Louis University, the Jesuit School of Theology at Berkeley and the University of San Francisco. After joining the Jesuits in 1988, he taught math and computer literacy at Regis Jesuit High School from 1992-1995. He was ordained in 1999 and then served six years at Rockhurst High School in Kansas City as the pastoral director. Following several months working in a parish in El Salvador, Fr. Menard joined the staff of Arrupe Jesuit High School in Denver where he currently is the assistant principal. Fr. Menard chairs the Ignatian Identity Committee.
Mr. Caleb Meyer '93
Caleb Meyer is an attorney with the law firm of John Rodman & Associates where he primarily focuses on insurance litigation. Caleb earned his undergraduate degree in political science from UCLA and his law degree from the University of Denver. He served as district attorney in Douglas County prior to joining Rodman. During high school, Caleb was a Raiderman and standout athlete, playing all-state soccer and lettering in basketball. He was named Colorado Soccer Player of the year in both 1991 and 1992, and went on to play professionally in the Netherlands and for the Colorado Rapids in the late 90s. Caleb has remained an active alumnus of Regis Jesuit, serving on the Alumni Council and Advancement Committee for the school. He and his wife, Laney, have three daughters and a son.
Mr. Daniel Murphy
Originally from Syracuse, NY, Dan Murphy moved to Denver in 1999. He works as the Chief Operating Officer for Continuum Partners, a commercial real estate company with a unique mission – "to create sustainable human habitats of extraordinary character and enduring value." Dan is also dedicated to service beyond his career, having served on multiple boards. He was recognized as “Man of the Year” by the Make-a-Wish Foundation in New York, and has been honored by the University of Notre Dame, about which he is passionate. Dan graduated from Christian Brothers Academy High School in Syracuse and has a degree in business administration from LeMoyne College. He and his wife, Michelle, have six children, including Sean ’12, and eight grandchildren.
Mr. Daniel P. Murray, Sr. '74
A 1974 Regis Jesuit alum, Dan Murray went on to graduate from the University of Northern Colorado. For over 25 years, he has been the owner of Suburban Toppers, Inc., a retail business for pick-up toppers and truck accessories and currently the single largest topper dealership in the country. Dan is the current commissioner of the Colorado High School Lacrosse Coaches Association, and coaches the freshman lacrosse team at Regis Jesuit. Dan and his wife, Denise, have four sons, three of whom are graduates of Regis Jesuit High School: Danny ’01, Michael ’03 and Joey ’05. Over the years Dan has been actively involved in many facets of Regis Jesuit including serving as director of the Parents Annual Campaign for Excellence (PACE) and as a founding member of the Lacrosse Booster Club. He currently serves on the school’s Alumni Council and chairs the Institutional Advancement Committee.
Mr. Patrick Murray, Jr.
Pat initially became involved in Regis Jesuit as a strong supporter of the expansion of the school. In particular, he was interested in the introduction of the Girls Division. Catholic education is very important to him, and he realized there was a need for space for girls in the Denver area Catholic high schools. He completed extensive volunteer hours during the planning and fundraising phases, and has continued his support of the school. Pat chaired PACE and served as chair of the Board of Trustees from 2006-2008. Currently he chairs the Investment Committee. Aubrey ’07, his daughter, is a Regis Jesuit grad and currently attends Gonzaga University.
Rev. Christopher Pinné, SJ
Fr. Chris Pinné, SJ hails from Prairie Village, Kan. and is a graduate of Rockhurst College. He entered the Jesuits in 1981 and was ordained to the priesthood in 1987. He holds an advanced degree in theology and a master’s of divinity. Fr. Pinné has spent the majority of his career as a teacher, coach, retreat director and club moderator at Jesuit high schools throughout the Missouri Province, but he has also spent time in Canada, Ireland, Italy, Poland, East Africa and Belize. Before coming to Regis Jesuit in 2007, he served as the vocation director for the Missouri Province. He currently serves as superior of the Jesuit community of Regis Jesuit, chaplain and sophomore theology teacher in the Boys Division and chaplain to the boys varsity soccer team.
Mr. Thomas E. Robinson '64
Tom, a standout athlete, graduated from Regis Jesuit in 1964, and went on to Colorado State University to play football and study mathematics. He then returned to his alma mater to teach and coach. For the next 31 years, Tom taught all levels of math and coached football, basketball and track. For five of those years he was also the Diversity Director. Malik, Tom’s son, attended Regis Jesuit and graduated in 1992. Currently Tom is an assistant commissioner at the Colorado High School Activities Association in charge of officials, sportsmanship and golf. In 2006 Regis Jesuit honored Tom’s longtime service to the school by creating the Tom Robinson Scholarship. He currently chairs the Education and Student Life Committee. Tom’s wife Cleo, founder of the Cleo Parker Robinson Dance Company, is a former Regis Jesuit trustee.
Rev. Michael Sheeran, SJ
Fr. Mike Sheeran, SJ entered the Society of Jesus in 1957 and was ordained in 1970. He holds degrees in philosophy, political science and theology, and received a Ph.D. in politics from Princeton University in 1977. Fr. Sheeran became the twenty-third president of Regis University in January 1993, after having served in numerous administrative roles at the school since 1975. Prior to his managerial service, Fr. Sheeran taught at Regis University, Saint Louis University and Regis Jesuit High School. Additionally, he has authored numerous articles, editorials and book reviews and has edited several national and local periodicals including America and Catholic Mind. His book, Beyond Majority Rule - a study of Quakerism, is used by Quakers to teach new members their distinctive decision-making process.
Mr. John F. Sheridan '76
John Sheridan is president of San Marco Petroleum, Inc. in Denver. He has worked in the petroleum industry since his graduation in 1980 from the University of Colorado at Boulder where he received a degree in business. John has long been active in the non-profit sector as well. He has been involved with numerous organizations and community-based groups over the last two decades including serving as a member of Regis Jesuit’s Capital Projects Committee since 2006. A grad of the class of 1976, John and his wife, Susan, are proud parents of two more Raiders: Kristen ’09 and Ryan ’12.
Mrs. Mary Sullivan
Mary Sullivan is an executive vice president with CB Richard Ellis, where she acts as an advisor and intermediary in the sale of investment properties throughout the United States. She started her career in 1981 as an investment specialist. Mary has won numerous professional awards, including being recognized as the Investment Broker of the Year six times by the Denver Chapter of NAIOP (the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties, a commercial real estate development association). In addition to Regis Jesuit’s Board, she serves on the University of Colorado Board and Real Estate Foundation Board as Board Director. Mary and her husband, Sherman, have two children, son, Buzz ’10, and daughter, Ralsey, who hopes to attend Regis Jesuit. The whole family enjoys traveling, scuba diving, skiing, fly fishing and hiking together.
Mrs. Ana S. Titterington
Ana Titterington was born and raised in Mexico City. She attended a bilingual elementary school before her family moved to Cuernavaca, where she attended high school. Ana’s volunteer involvement ranges from the Cruz Roja Americana to The Cherry Creek Diversity Conference. She and her husband, John, have a daughter, Victoria, who graduated from the Regis Jesuit Girls Division in 2007. When the Girls Division opened in 2003, Ana was one of the co-chairs of the first Moms Club. She also served as the Chair of the Girls Division Parent Diversity Committee, as well as contributing to the Regis Jesuit cookbook and helping with fundraising for the libraries in both Divisions.
