Campus Master Plan for Future Projects

The master plan for the future growth of the RJ campus is being revised and updated by the Planning and Major Projects Committee. The plan will be presented to the Board of Trustees for review and approval during the spring of 2018. Committee members include:

This new plan, once approved, will guide the future growth of the school. The Board of Trustees will review and approve all new construction projects to ensure future construction meets the needs of the students, faculty and mission of the school.

The concept plan currently under review includes:

  • Athletics: Kellogg Stadium expansion and lighting, new pool with diving well and expanded seating, locker rooms for both men and women, dance studio and practice gym
  • Classroom addition to the SW corner of the Girls Division for science
  • Central Administration Offices for the President, Business Office, Advancement, Vice President of Operations, Technology Department, Human Resources and Facilities & Grounds
  • STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Music) Facilities: Remodeling of current facilities is being considered for some STEAM classrooms. A separate STEAM building is also under consideration

With the purchase of the 18-acre kennel on the SE side of campus, the Board of Trustees has directed the Planning and Major Projects Committee to update the Campus Master Plan. This year-long process will be completed in the spring of 2018. The plan will evolve and change as the facility needs of the school and students is studied.
