A SEMESTER TO BE GRATEFUL FOR

Following last week's celebration of Thanksgiving, and as the first semester winds down and we continue our preparation for Christ's coming, we thought we would share with you some highlights in photos from the year so far for which we are especially grateful.
Following last week's celebration of Thanksgiving, and as the first semester winds down and we continue our preparation for Christ's coming, we thought we would share with you some highlights in photos from the year so far for which we are especially grateful.
  • Our flourishing Performing Arts program offered more performances this semester than ever before including a soldout run of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
  • Our all-school liturgies. At semester's end, we will have celebrated the Eucharist four times as a school community.
  • Cuddles with dogs on campus—part of an ongoing commitment to student health and well-being.
  • Our Great Raiders who give of their time to return to their alma mater to share their experience and expertise with current students as part of the Alumni Mentorship Series.
  • The 16 retreats conducted already this year by our strong Pastoral Program.
  • The grandparents who came out in droves to join their current Raider grandchildren for Grandparents Day to share faith and fellowship.
  • Our thriving Activities Program with clubs for nearly every interest including the very popular Special Olympics Club that helped us achieve status as the only private Unified National Banner School in the U.S.
  • Our astonishingly beautiful campus that occasionally plays host to wonderful wildlife, like owls (photo by Michael Hills '20), and those who keep it clean and safe year-round.
  • Inspired by our commitment to justice, the acts of kindness throughout our community, like Ms. Ziegler's class preparing cards for hospitalized soldiers.
  • Our amazing Athletic Program that saw one of the strongest fall seasons in school history including State runners-up in Field Hockey, Girls Rugby and Boys Soccer and a repeat State Championship by Boys Tennis.
We have so much to be thankful for as 2019 draws to a close and know that second semester will be just as wonderful as the beginning of this school year has been. We look forward to all the blessings we will enjoy in 2020.
