Zinat Stephen

We are saddened to inform you of the recent loss of RJ employee Imtiaz Stephen’s mother, Zinat Stephen, who passed away on February 29, 2020, at the age of 88.

"Zinat was born in a small village in Pakistan on November 26, 1931. She was an amazing daughter, mother, sister, aunt and friend to so many. Throughout her incredible life, Zinat was the core of her family. She touched the lives of many through her career as an educator and principal. Zinat married her husband John Stephen in 1962, who proceeded her in death. They have two sons, Imtiaz and Amir Stephen. Zinat moved to the United States in 1969. She completed her Master’s Degree at Metropolitan State College in education and eventually retired from Diners Club. The things that made Zinat happy were the simple things in life. Proudly watching her two boys grow and succeed, helping others to learn English and acclimating to the U.S. The simplest of her pleasures were sharing a cup of her tea with whoever visited and sharing her garden with pride. Zinat was pure in heart and her love for all radiated with everyone she met. Zinat will be remembered and forever loved by all she touched in her life." Click here to view the full obituary.

Please keep Imtiaz, Security Department Lead, and his family in your thoughts and prayers. We are praying for Zinat’s eternal rest and for God’s peace and ongoing consolation for the Stephen family.
