Eugene "Gene" Naes
We are saddened to inform you that Eugene "Gene" Naes, father of Eugene "Tony" Naes, Jr. '80 and grandfather of Eugene "Anthony" '06, Annemarie '09, Luke '11, Christian '13 and Daniel '16, passed away on November 7.
Gene passed away 14 days short of his 90th birthday and is survived by his wife of almost 66 years, four children, 11 grandchildren and seven great grandkids. He was born in St. Louis where he received a Jesuit education, served in Korea with the United States Army, was a 37-year employee of IBM, third degree Knight in the Knights of Columbus and avid golfer and gardener in his retirement.
