RJ STUDENTS DONATE GOODIE BAGS TO THE DENVER RESCUE MISSION

This Valentine's Day, sisters Sydney '24 and Hailey ’25 Cornell, along with their parents and younger brother Will, found a way to continue supporting those in the Denver area experiencing homelessness despite current COVID pandemic restrictions. The family typically volunteers in person at the Denver Rescue Mission, but with that not currently an option, they decided to prepare goodie bags to spread cheer and goodwill during the organization’s Spread the Warmth campaign. “We’re not able to go and serve them like we usually want to and interact with them, but we still wanted to show our support to them,” Sydney shared. The siblings filled bags with sweet treats to remind the men and women of the mission that they are not forgotten this Valentine's Day.
