PARALYMPIAN LACEY HENDERSON '07 CLIMBS VOLCANO IN SUPPORT OF AMPUTEES

Paralympian Lacey Henderson '07 has set her sights on a new adventure: helping other amputees by joining Global Climbing for ROMP, an initiative that aims to increase awareness for disability rights and raise funds for prosthetic care for people with amputations. This month, she plans to summit the 19,347-foot Cotopaxi Volcano in the Andes Mountains of Ecuador. Henderson is grateful to have been able to receive excellent care and resources following her life-saving surgery as a child and has committed to working hard to provide equitable resources and care to those in need.
