VARSITY HOCKEY ENDS OVERTIME BATTLE AGAINST VALOR CHRISTIAN IN A TIE
In a head-to-head matchup on Tuesday, February 1 at South Suburban Ice Arena, the No. 2 Raiders battled against No. 4 Valor Christian Eagles resulting in a tie in overtime. With strong and impressive in-net performances by both goalies, the teams scored only one goal each, both in the second period, preventing the other from taking the win. The Raiders move to a 13-1-2 overall record this season after back-to-back ties. In a show of good sportsmanship and camaraderie, the two powerhouse teams continued the on-ice tradition of praying together after the game.
