TY BLACH '09 PITCHES WELL IN ROCKIES' SPRING OPENER
Great Raider Ty Blach '09, who was signed to the Colorado Rockies during the off-season, pitched well in the team's Cactus League opener against Arizona. The left-hander blanked the Diamondbacks for two innings, allowing no hits and striking out four. He continued to pitch well in other preseason games, making a case for a spot on the team's roster.
