TY BLACH '09 RELIEF PITCHING EARNS WIN FOR ROCKIES
Great Raider Ty Blach '09 celebrated a win after his Big League debut, pitching four scoreless innings of relief in the Rockies' 9-4 victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers on Sunday, April 10 at Coors Field. Only giving up one hit with a walk and four strikeouts, he earned his first professional save. Blach joined a shortlist of Rockies pitchers to pitch four or more innings in relief and allow two or fewer baserunners. He also became just the seventh Rockie to record a four-inning save.
