BOYS RUGBY REMAINS UNDEFEATED IN LEAGUE

With their recent 44-19 victory over Palmer High School, the Varsity Boys Rugby team celebrated its sixth consecutive win and is undefeated in the Colorado Interscholastic Rugby Association (CIRA) League. Currently holding a 6-2 overall record, the team was dealt two early-season non-league losses but has continued not only to dominate in the league but win by big margins. The Boys Rugby program has continued to grow both in popularity and talent over the last several years, and Coach Mattacchione attributes having multi-sport athletes and strong leadership as some of the keys to the team's overall strength and success. Raider fans have an opportunity to cheer on the team at their final league match-up against Monarch High School tomorrow, April 30, at 11:00 am at William Turf Field in Superior. Keep it up, Raiders!
