BOYS SWIM & DIVE WINS 23RD STATE CHAMPIONSHIP

The Raiders did it again! For the 23rd time in school history, the Boys Varsity Swim & Dive Team took home the championship title on Saturday, May 14 at the Class 5A Boys Swimming State Meet at Veterans Memorial Aquatic Center. With strong event showings from the entire roster, the team finished with an overall score of 467, comfortably beating longtime rivals and two-time defending State Champion Cherry Creek by a total of 64 points. The 400-yard freestyle relay team of Gio Aguirre '22, Mack Dugan '22, Ronan Krauss '23 and Hawkins Wendt '23 celebrated their first-place win and State title. In addition, the Raiders took second place in the 100-yard freestyle, 500-yard freestyle and the 200-yard freestyle relay, and placed third in the 200-yard medley relay and 100-yard backstroke. Head Coach Nick Frasersmith earned his third State Championship with the team and was selected as the 5A Coach of the Year. Excellent performance, Raiders. We are proud of you!
