DALLAS MACIAS '22 SELECTED AS GATORADE COLORADO PLAYER OF THE YEAR

Congratulations to Dallas Macias '22 of the Boys Varsity Baseball Team on being selected as the Gatorade Colorado Player of the Year for 2021-22. Macias led the team with a .551 batting average, .632 on-base percentage and a 1.01 slugging percentage. He also was the team leader in hits, runs scored and doubles for the season. For more than 30 years, the Gatorade Player of the Year program has recognized the nation’s most elite high school student-athletes, including past winners such as Peyton Manning, Abby Wambach, Jayson Tatum, Elena Delle Donne and numerous other sports icons. This prestigious title is based not only on outstanding athletic excellence but also on high academic achievement and exemplary character. All state winners are in the running to be selected for the Gatorade National Player of the Year title to be announced later in June. Way to go, Dallas - we are proud of you!
