Marcus Staerkel '16

We are saddened to inform you that Marcus Staerkel '16, brother of Bryan '15, passed away on July 6, 2022.

"Marcus Staerkel, 24 died peacefully at home on July 6, 2022. Beloved son of Luisa and Albert Staerkel and his brother Bryan Staerkel. During his short life, Marcus touched many lives with his infectious smile. He was a very loving and generous person to his family, friends and all those he met. He was always there to lend a helping hand. He loved music spending hours listening and composing songs. He loved sports, especially rugby, football, golf, car racing, go-carting and biking. The Colorado mountains were his favorite place to be hiking, camping and fishing. He graduated from Regis Jesuit High School class of 2016 and he attended Creighton University. He joined Kentwood Real Estate as a Broker Associate in 2021 as an up-and-coming young broker, mentored and working alongside his mother." Click here to view the full obituary

A Mass and celebration of his life will be held on Monday, July 25 at 3:00 pm at the Regis University Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital

We join the prayers of the community of Regis Jesuit with yours for the repose of Marcus' soul and the consolation of his family and all those who loved him. May he rest in peace.
