FRANKLIN FAMILY SHARES STORY OF KIDNEY DONATION TO HELP OTHERS
In early 2022, Dick Franklin, father of Great Raider Missy Franklin Johnson '13, was suffering end-stage kidney failure when the family put out a "Hail Mary" request on Facebook seeking a kidney donor. They ended up finding a donor who was not only a match but also knows a bit about being an Olympic champion. The Franklins shared their story on 9NEWS to help spread the word about organ donation.
