We are a Catholic, Jesuit, college preparatory high school serving more than 1700 young men and women in grades 9-12 in becoming Men and Women with and for Others.
With nearly 150 years of history behind us, we are a Roman Catholic educational community rooted firmly in the nearly 500-year-old model of Jesuit education, leading the way in preparing students for the 21st century.
Our unique educational model combines the advantages of single-sex instruction with opportunities for young men and women to collaborate, serve, pray and socialize together to form the whole person—mind, body and spirit.
The strength of Regis Jesuit is found in the depth and diversity of its broad community of students, parents and alumni who strengthen and share their gifts through a lifelong Raider experience.
The transformational student experience has been developed thanks to a long tradition of generous philanthropic support of our enduring educational mission.
We are saddened to inform you that Linda May Buehler, mother-in-law to science teacher Marianne Buehler, and grandmother to Morgan ’16, Kaylyn ’18 and Camden ‘23 passed away on September 28, 2022.
"Linda has returned home. She passed away peacefully at the age of 85. Linda grew up in Haslett, Michigan, and made her home between Haslett, East Lansing, and Okemos. She was a wonderful daughter, sister, aunt, mother, Grandmother, and friend and will be greatly missed by many. She worked as a bank teller for many years with East Lansing State Bank, and later at a local insurance company before she landed her job of many years with Andrew Chevrolet in Mason, Michigan where she retired after 20+ years. She enjoyed being on her golfing league and bowling team. Linda married Friedrich A. Buehler (deceased) in 1954 and they had 4 children, Douglas (Maureen) Laingsburg, Mi; Kimalynn Wilson (James), Belfair, WA; David (Kristi. Deceased) Charlotte, Mi; Friedrich J. (Marianne) Aurora, CO. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She was the daughter of Ernest (John) & Ida Jennings (deceased) and the sister of Yvonne Rogers (deceased). Linda loved to travel to the Denver area to visit her son and family as well as to the Seattle area to visit her daughter’s family."
A memorial service will be planned for a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to your favorite animal rescue or shelter.
We pray for Linda’s eternal rest and for God’s peace and ongoing consolation for the Buehler family.
