Advancement Office

The Advancement team works closely with alumni, parents, students, faculty/staff and companions of the school to build community, foster meaningful engagement and promote a culture of philanthropy that advances the mission of Regis Jesuit.

  • Office Volunteers
Volunteers are needed to help with general office tasks—data entry, phone calls, mailings and other projects between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm on a weekly or monthly basis.
  • New Parent Navigators
Volunteers are needed to serve as mentors for families new to the RJ community. Volunteers contact families and help them understand and navigate all the information they are receiving as a Regis Jesuit parent. The goal is to help these families feel more informed and find the resources they need within the school. Outreach begins in early August and will continue throughout the school year.
  • LARK Planning
The annual LARK Dinner-Auction is Regis Jesuit’s largest community fundraising event. Volunteers are needed from September to April for a variety of roles from serving on the steering committee to data entry to driving to pick up donations. There is no skill we cannot use! The LARK Kickoff meeting is in the fall.

Libraries

Boys Division | Girls Division
Assist the RJ librarians with database projects to maintain the library catalog, special displays and events, and shelving and organizing books for display. In addition, the libraries need volunteers to participate in conceptualizing and developing our new “hands-on” rooms and activities.

Nurses' Offices

Boys Division | Girls Division
Volunteer in either of the school clinics to attend to the needs of students and staff. CPR certification is required; medical background is a plus, but not necessary. Requires Protecting God’s Children training and a background check.

Food Service

Boys Division Cafeteria | Girls Division Cafeteria | Steele Center Cafe
Both the BD and GD cafeterias need parent volunteers for the morning break and lunch time every day. Choose a regular bi-weekly time or be on the substitute list. The Steele Center café needs parent volunteers before school, at lunch and after school. Choose a regular bi-weekly time or be on the substitute list. All Food Service volunteers are required to attend Protecting God’s Children training.

Raider Shop

Sponsored by the Parent Community Association and your source for all things red, white and Regis Jesuit, the Raider Shop needs volunteers to staff the shop during its normal hours, two shifts, either 12:00-2:00 pm and/or 2:00-4:00 pm when school is in session and for special events like Open House, New Raider Night and before home football games. Requires Protecting God’s Children training.

Protecting God’s Children Training

To ensure the safety and security of our students, Regis Jesuit High School conducts Protecting God’s Children training for all faculty, staff, coaches and volunteers who will be in direct contact with students. Volunteer opportunities requiring this training are noted. The next Protecting God's Children training will be held on February 28 at 6:00 pm in GD 117.
