ALL SCHOOL NEWS

SUMMER SCHEDULE FOR THE RED & WHITE
The normal weekly schedule will resume on July 28.

SUMMER READING ASSIGNMENTS
Summer assignments have been posted at www.regisjesuit.com/summerreading. Please check the page often as updates will be made. Summer assignments should be completed before school begins in August. Any work associated with an assignment should be printed and brought to the first day of classes unless otherwise stated in the specific assignment document. We prefer that you use the textbook editions listed on www.mbsdirect.net, as these will be the versions that will be cited in class.

SECOND SEMESTER HONOR ROLL POSTED
We are pleased to announce the names of the students who have made the second semester honor roll for the 2016-17 school year at www.regisjesuit.com/honorroll (log in to view). There are three levels in which honor roll is awarded: Highest Honors (4.00 GPA and above), First Honors (3.50–3.99 GPA), and Second Honors (3.00–3.49 GPA). Please join us in congratulating the listed students for a job well done!

CLASS SCHEDULES NOW AVAILABLE
Class schedules for the 2017-18 school year are now available on RaiderNet. To view your student’s schedule, log into RaiderNet and go to the Registration tab, click on "Student Schedule." On the search bar on the left, be sure to change the “session” to regular.  You may also change your view settings to “List," “Grid” or “Calendar” view to see the entire semester. The Grid is not as friendly to view, so please print a copy if you wish to carry one with you. Once you access your schedule, please make sure that all of your core courses are correct and that there are seven classes listed for each semester (7.0 credits). If you have questions, please email Mr. Bostdorff at kbostdorff@regisjesuit.com in the Boys Division or Mr. Williamson at rwilliamson@regisjesuit.com in the Girls Division.

2017-18 CALENDAR IS LIVE
Our 2017-18 school calendar is now live. Please note that some dates from our previously published Tentative Schedule have changed so check www.regisjesuit.com/mainschoolcalendar for the latest information on school events and holiday schedules.

BUS TRANSPORTATION REGISTRATION OPEN
We are excited to announce that the four bus lines we currently offer will continue for 2017-18 with no changes in the routes or stop locations. To reserve your spot on one of the bus lines, you will need to register online and complete the 2017-18 Bus Reservation form. Online enrollment for bus passes is now open and will close August 3, 2017. Everyone is encouraged to sign up early to ensure a spot on the desired bus line. An initial payment of $75 will be required when reserving a spot on the bus. That payment will be applied toward the purchase of the bus pass. All annual or seasonal pass purchases will have the remaining balances added to their FACTS tuition payments and continue throughout the duration of the plan. Families on one- or two-pay plans will have their payments collected in full on September 20, 2017.
The sign-up process remains the same and can be found at www.regisjesuit.com/busreservations.
Bus pass purchases may be made any time during the school year through the Facilities Coordinator, Mark Sarna, in his office located on the lower level of the Steele Center, or in the Boys Division Main Office or the Girls Division Attendance Desk.

WAYTOGO CARPOOL INFORMATION COMING SOON
Waytogo will be sending out an email on July 10 to families providing a secure link to their website with a listing of 2017-18 RJ families in the area. Once you create an account, you can receive a listing of up to 100 families within a 7.5 mile radius of your home. You can then contact those families to make carpooling arrangements if desired. Should no email address be on file with the school, Waytogo will send a letter with the information via USPS.

MANAGE LUNCH MONEY ONLINE
Did you know you can automatically replenish your student's lunch account online? In the PayForIt.net portal, click on the Lunch tab and select Auto Replenish. At that point, you can select the minimum threshold to fund the account and the amount to add to the account. You can also configure your email options to send a notification when your child's account reaches a predetermined balance so you know to add money to the account. You can do so by updating your email options under the My Account tab at the top and then selecting My Email Option and checking the box next to Low Balance and then saving the setting. As a reminder, we expect all students to be aware of their account balance and to see their accounts are replenished before they run out of money. Their student ID card will function as a debit card for any items purchased from either the cafeterias or the snack bar. Contact Mark Sarna with any questions.

SCHOOLMESSENGER: MAKE SURE YOU ARE SET TO RECEIVE BROADCASTS
We use SchoolMessenger to alert parents, students, faculty and staff via text and voice message of unscheduled late starts or closures of the school due to weather. We also use the system for other critical/emergency and attendance notifications. We continue to use the system as a primary means of communication for athletics and activities during the school year and throughout the summer. Incoming families were added to our SchoolMessenger reverse communications software in early June. Members of the class of 2017 and their parents will remain in the system until the end of July to help facilitate continued communication with those involved in activities this summer. To ensure that you receive messages from the SchoolMessenger system, please verify your profile information on the Regis Jesuit website, especially if you have had any changes to your phone numbers and/or email addresses.
Incoming Parents and Students: Opt-in for Text Messages. You should have received an automated text from the SchoolMessenger system on June 8 asking you to opt-in to receive text alerts from the school. Hopefully you replied Y to that message. If not, please follow these instructions to do so now (you must log in to the website to access them). If you already are opted in, you don't need to do it again.
All Parents and Students: Don’t Unsubscribe from Email Messages. Please note that if you unsubscribe using the option in the footer of any of the email messages sent from the system, you will unsubscribe from ALL emails sent via SchoolMessenger, including emergency messages. If you are getting broadcasts from a team or activity that you no longer wish to receive notifications about, please contact that group directly and ask for your student to be removed from the list in lieu of opting out. If you have accidently opted out, contact communications@regisjesuit.com, and we can remove your email address from the blocked list.
If you have any questions about the SchoolMessenger system, please contact communications@regisjesuit.com.
