Polica Houston

Polica Houston is the vice president of programs for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado. He was previously chief program officer for Boys Hope Girls Hope Colorado (BHGHCO) where he oversaw the organization’s academies at both Regis Jesuit and Aurora Central High Schools. Polica has also worked as an assistant principal in Aurora Public Schools for three years and has worked in high school administration for Denver Public Schools. A Denver native, Polica earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Northern Colorado and a master's degree in higher education from the University of Denver and brings an extensive background in organizational leadership, strategic planning, public speaking, mentorship and college readiness. He also has a solid background in high school athletics, having coached football for many years. Polica and his wife Biaze have two daughters, Avani and Sade. He joined the Board of Trustees in April 2023.
