REGIS JESUIT HONORED AT 2023 SPECIAL OLYMPICS HALL OF FAME INDUCTION

Thanks to the incredible work and ongoing efforts of the Special Olympics/Unified Club, Regis Jesuit has been induction into the Special Olympics Colorado (SOCO) Hall of Fame earning the 2023 "Chaka Sutton" Unified Champion School of the Year Award. The club was notified of this honor and awarded a token of appreciation at their annual Polar Plunge this past April 2023 and was officially recognized at the 2023 Special Olympics Colorado Hall of Fame Luncheon presented by Denver Pavilions on October 11.
Former science teacher and club moderator Marianne Buehler returned to Colorado to accept the award on the school's behalf along with President David Card '87 and Principal Jimmy Tricco.

We are so proud of the Special Olympics/Unified Club members who help transform the lives of the SOCO athletes through many school-sponsored activities and events that help break down barriers and create a world of acceptance and inclusion. To date, the Regis Jesuit Special Olympics/Unified Club has raised more than $100,000 to support SOCO programming and athletes.

Way to go, Raiders!
