ABOUT THE RUDY CUP
Generations of Regis Jesuit students knew, loved and are forever grateful to Rudy Brada (1926-2001). From the 50s into the 90s, Rudy’s genuine personal interest, self-sacrificing generosity and inspiring example were among the greatest gifts that Regis Jesuit offered to the young men who came here. He taught them in our classrooms, coached them on our athletic fields, rejoiced with them at their weddings and, for some, prayed at their funerals. Serious, but not somber, reverent but not righteous, humorous and wholesome, Rudy Brada embodies the spirit of Regis Jesuit. The Rudy Cup is a day of enjoyment, friendship and dedication to the development of young men and women to thank, honor and remember Rudy Brada’s legacy. Proceeds benefit the Rudy Brada Memorial Endowed Scholarship and continue to help ensure a Catholic, Jesuit education remains accessible to one in three students who qualify for financial aid at Regis Jesuit.
