GIRLS VARSITY BASKETBALL'S CLUTCH WIN EARNS TRIP TO STATE FINALS

Congratulations to the seventh-seeded Girls Varsity Basketball Team on their huge and literal last-second 54-53 win against No. 3 Legend High School in the 2024 Class 6A State Semifinals on March 7 at the Denver Coliseum. In their first State Championship appearance since 2021, the Raiders will face rival and fourth-seeded Valor Christian in the State Finals TOMORROW, March 9 at 1:15 p.m. Get your tickets to the game, wear red and white and pack the stands. Let's go Raiders!
Down 30-18 at the half, the team brought on the heat, forcing nine turnovers and seven steals resulting in an incredible 20-0 run late in the game. Then, with just 0.3 of a second on the clock, Izzy Davies '25 sank the winning free throw to secure the Raider's 20th win of the season and a trip to the Championship Title game. Hana Belibi '24 led the team with 21 points, followed by Coryn Watts '24 with 15 and Jane Rumpf '25 scoring 11.
