HONDURAS SAN PEDRO SULA - DAY 1

Filippo Screpanti
Our travel from Denver to San Pedro Sula
Today, our San Pedro Sula group traveled from Denver to Honduras, with a connection in Houston. We departed Denver at 7:45 a.m. and, after a brief delay in Houston, arrived safely in San Pedro Sula at 3:28 p.m.
At the airport, we received a warm welcome from the International Samaritan team, including Cynthia, our local guide, and Erika, the local supervisor and coordinator. From there, we headed straight to a local favorite, Power Chicken, where everyone enjoyed a well-deserved Honduran meal after a long day of travel.
After dinner, we made our way to the hotel to settle in and rest for the evening. Everyone is in great spirits and looking forward to the days ahead.
Tomorrow, we have a full program planned, including a visit to the International Samaritan Center and the opportunity to meet some of the local families it supports.
Our Regis Jesuit group includes Miss Cardenas and Mr. Screpanti as chaperones, along with students Mia, Camilla, Deion, Clayton, Ivy, Jeremy, Naomi, Jordynn, Grayson, and Chase.
