HONDURAS TEGUCIGALPA DAY 1

R. Diaz
Departure, Arrival, and First Impressions.
While the excitement started very early for this group, tiredness got the best of us and naps were seen on the part of the kids through the flights. Arrival and meeting with the staff at the terminal were pleasant and joyful. The various stops before arriving at the hotel were nourishing and pleasant as we had the chance to experience the local cuisine at its best. Lastly, our fine dinner concluded with a thoughtful reflection (at our hotel in Tegucigalpa) and general housekeeping recommendations to the group, before getting dismissed to their rooms. The consensus is that everyone is excited to meet the rest of the community and the becados (scholars), an integral part of our interaction with kids of similar ages. We are very much looking forward to that opportunity tomorrow. Good night y bendiciones.
