William DeLine '53

William DeLine '53, brother of Robert '48 (also deceased), Howard '51 (also deceased) and Jack '57, passed away on November 18, 2025.

"Born August 14, 1935, in Denver, Colorado, Bill, affectionately known as "Grandsir" to his grandchildren, was a devoted family man and successful businessman. He attended Regis Jesuit High School, continued his education at Marquette University, and ultimately graduated from Regis College in 1957. Before graduating from college, Bill married Adele Murray on December 29, 1956. Together, they built a large and loving family that includes five children, 16 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren, with three more on the way. Professionally, Bill was remembered as "Business Bill" by his colleagues. He began his career selling for the family box company, and later had a successful career as a manufacturing rep for packaging equipment. Seeking a new challenge, he purchased a Coors distributing company called D&D Sales, which he owned and operated until his retirement. Through D&D Sales, he built his business legacy and provided for his family. Bill was known for his generosity towards his employees, offering full-ride scholarships to those choosing to attend Arapahoe Community College. He encouraged everyone to grow and supported them when moving on to bigger and better opportunities. Those who stayed with him were very loyal to both Bill and D&D Sales. Bill's commitment to charity work was remarkable. For ten years, he was deeply committed to bringing teenagers to Christ through a program called "Teens Encounter Christ”. Another commitment was to the Mankind Project & Gathering of Men Retreat, which focused on self-awareness and personal growth. He also participated in the remodeling of Most Precious Blood Church, organized numerous charity golf tournaments, donated to many causes and supported the Regis College School of Business."
