We are a Catholic, Jesuit, college preparatory high school serving nearly 1700 young men and women in grades 9-12 in becoming Men and Women with and for Others.
With nearly 150 years of history behind us, we are a Roman Catholic educational community rooted firmly in the nearly 500-year-old model of Jesuit education, leading the way in preparing students for the 21st century.
Our unique educational model combines the advantages of single-sex instruction with opportunities for young men and women to collaborate, serve, pray and socialize together to form the whole person—mind, body and spirit.
The strength of Regis Jesuit is found in the depth and diversity of its broad community of students, parents and alumni who strengthen and share their gifts through a lifelong Raider experience.
The transformational student experience has been developed thanks to a long tradition of generous philanthropic support of our enduring educational mission.
REGIS JESUIT CELEBRATES THE SACRAMENTAL JOURNEYS OF OCIT CANDIDATES AT ANNUAL MASS OF THANKSGIVING WITH ARCHBISHOP GOLKA
On April 23, Regis Jesuit High School came together in joyful gratitude for its annual Mass of Thanksgiving, an occasion made especially meaningful by the presence of Archbishop James R. Golka. The celebratory liturgy marked Archbishop Golka’s first visit to campus since his appointment as Archbishop of Denver and offered a powerful moment of unity and grace for the entire Regis Jesuit community. The Mass was highlighted by the celebration of the Sacraments of Baptism, First Holy Communion and Confirmation for fifteen students participating in the Order of Christian Initiation for Teens (OCIT). Witnessing these young men and women fully enter the sacramental life of the Church was a moving affirmation of faith and a profound milestone in their spiritual journeys. Their commitment embodies Regis Jesuit’s mission to form students who live lives grounded in competence, conscience, character and compassion within the Catholic, Jesuit tradition.
In his homily, Archbishop Golka offered a message both simple and transformative, reminding students and faculty that God blesses each person with gifts meant to be shared. When those gifts are given generously to others, he reflected, they are not diminished—but multiplied—a call that resonated deeply with the community gathered.
“Celebrating the Sacraments with our students in communion with our Archbishop is both deeply meaningful and profoundly formative,” shared Fr. Gary Menard, SJ, Superior of the school’s Jesuit Community. “It reflects who we are as a Jesuit school and our commitment to spiritual depth, academic excellence and preparing young men and women to serve others with purpose.”
Please join us in celebrating and congratulating the following Raiders as they take meaningful next steps in their Catholic faith journeys. We invite the community to keep them in prayer as they continue to grow in love, faith, and a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.
