TEGUCIGALPA - EVENING 1

Annabelle Thrush
Tonight we settled into the hotel and played uno and BS as a group.
Today we all woke up at the crack of dawn to catch our flight at 5 a.m. It was an interesting experience to see all of my classmates at such an early time. The first flight went smoothly and with a quick turnaround we were off to Tegucigalpa. After a long day of travel, we were greeted at the end of customs by Frank, Margie and Maritza who picked us up and took us to lunch. It was a buffet, and for me personally the first time I spoke Spanish with native speakers. All of the food was delicious. We took the bus back to the hotel and got to see the country land of Honduras, which is full of lush plants as well as some cows and mules. Everyone was exhausted and slept most of the travel day. We ended the day by playing uno and BS (the card game) to kill the time.

Miss you Lukie and Heather! - Emery
