Tegucigalpa Day 4

Sam Clouser
Today we finished building the desks, painted a house, made bracelets, and played more soccer.
Today we split into two teams. Some of us stayed at the community center to finish building the desks, while my group carried painting supplies through the community to a house. The owner, Ligia, wanted it to be bright pink and blue. With the help of Frank, we started painting while Ligia and her kids, along with some other members of the community, watched. After hours of work, we were finished, and we could sit back and admire the now-colorful house. We walked back up to the community center and ate another delicious lunch, this time comprised of fajitas, rice, a salad, and pistachio/strawberry ice cream. We then had some free time where we played soccer with the scholars, and then we were taught how to make bracelets by the moms of the scholars. We all made bracelets (with lots of help), and then it was time to leave. On the way back, we stopped at a coffee shop for a snack, and then went to Walmart to get some snacks.
