We are a Catholic, Jesuit, college preparatory high school serving nearly 1700 young men and women in grades 9-12 in becoming Men and Women with and for Others.
With nearly 150 years of history behind us, we are a Roman Catholic educational community rooted firmly in the nearly 500-year-old model of Jesuit education, leading the way in preparing students for the 21st century.
Our unique educational model combines the advantages of single-sex instruction with opportunities for young men and women to collaborate, serve, pray and socialize together to form the whole person—mind, body and spirit.
The strength of Regis Jesuit is found in the depth and diversity of its broad community of students, parents and alumni who strengthen and share their gifts through a lifelong Raider experience.
The transformational student experience has been developed thanks to a long tradition of generous philanthropic support of our enduring educational mission.
Painted the house, soccer tournament, played with kids, said goodbye.
Today we started off by saying hello to a few kids that were at the center, then a group of us went to Lydia'a house to do the final coat of the pink paint. When we arrived at the house, we saw the twins Santiago and Samuel running around with Xochil chasing them. A few minutes into painting the house, they asked us if we wanted to listen to music, and of course we said yes! They watched us paint while singing along, which reminded me of home. When we finished up, we walked back to center and Sam, Anders, Anders, Annabellee, Luke, and Elizabeth all went off to play in the soccer tournament while the rest of us went off to play with the little kids. Leandro, Jassiel, and Alondra, and someone new who showed that day, all wanted to play on the playground. We ran around until everyone got tired then we went to go draw. Wendy, Denisse, and all of the little kids drew fruits, pools, lakes, and everything they could imagine. Lunch today was pork ribs and rice or chicken and rice. After lunch we set up tables full of donations for all the families which includes toiletries and clothes. Some of us stayed to help pass out the remaining items, and the others went to give out the desks that we (Luke) had worked on. The tournament ended, with the green team winning and cheering happily. Smiles and laughter filled the air as everyone celebrated. We ended the day by watching a video that recapped the week and then we were told to say goodbye. We hugged and said see you later with the kids that were there, knowing this experience would stay in our hearts forever.
