  • Fr. Edward Maguire, SJ & Br. Joseph Gockel, SJ Memorial Scholarship

Joe Gockel, SJ, rallied the Class of 1974 to establish a $1,500 scholarship in his name—fulfilling a dream the two had shared of supporting families in need. In the years that followed, Br. Joe became the tireless steward of Fr. Maguire’s legacy, raising funds for the scholarship, moderating RCLC, leading countless retreats, and embodying joy, faith and community in all he did—including his well-known love of baking.
