A LASTING LEGACY: TRADITION HALL RENAMED DOHERTY HALL
On September 25, the Regis Jesuit community came together to celebrate a historic and heartfelt milestone as Tradition Hall in the Boys Division was officially renamed Doherty Hall in honor of longtime educator, mentor and coach Mr. Mike Doherty. The dedication recognized his extraordinary 45 years of service to Regis Jesuit as Dean of Students and swim coach, as well as the lasting impact he has had on generations of students, families, faculty and staff.

Known for his unwavering integrity, compassionate leadership and genuine care for every student, Dean Doherty helped shape the character and spirit of the Regis Jesuit community for nearly half a century. While his presence has been greatly missed since his retirement at the conclusion of the 2025-26 school year, his influence remains woven into the fabric of RJ and will continue to inspire future generations through the hall that now proudly bears his name.
The renaming of Doherty Hall serves as a lasting tribute to a man whose dedication, generosity and servant leadership have left an indelible mark on Regis Jesuit. We are honored to celebrate his remarkable legacy and the countless lives he has touched throughout his distinguished career.
