GROWING IN FAITH IN LEADERSHIP THROUGH FELLOWSHIP OF CHRISTIAN ATHLETES
On September 21, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) Club welcomed Colorado Rockies rookie outfielder Zac Veen to campus for an inspiring conversation about faith, athletics and personal growth. Student-athletes had the opportunity to hear firsthand about the role faith has played in his journey both on and off the field. Next up! RJ student-athletes and coaches are invited to continue the experience at the club's upcoming co-sponsored Fields of Faith event on Sunday, October 18, at 7:00 pm in Lou Kellogg Stadium, where Denver Broncos wide receiver Marvin Mims will share his personal testimony and encourage athletes to live out their faith with purpose and conviction. A pizza dinner will be served to all students attending. The event is open to FCA groups from high schools across Aurora and will provide an evening of inspiration, fellowship and community.
