CYBERSECURITY AWARENESS MONTH AT RJ

Throughout October, the IT Office celebrated Cybersecurity Awareness Month by helping students and employees strengthen their online safety skills through interactive challenges, practical tips and educational resources. This year’s theme, Passport to a Cybersafe World, took the Regis Jesuit community on a global cybersecurity adventure. Each week featured a new destination and cybersecurity challenge, encouraging participants to collect passport stamps, earn prize entries and expand their knowledge of digital safety. Students also followed clues displayed on Vivi screens to discover hidden locations and earn bonus chances to win prizes.

By blending education with adventure and friendly competition, the month-long initiative encouraged the community to build safer digital habits while learning about the ever-evolving world of cybersecurity.

A special thank you to our IT team for creating a fun and engaging experience while keeping our community informed about the latest cybersecurity best practices and online threats.
