BOYS CROSS COUNTY CAPTURES A FIRST-PLACE FINISH IN SALIDA
Congratulations to the Boys Cross Country Team on capturing first place at the Salida High Mountain Desert Twilight Meet on October 3 at the Salida Golf Course with a low score of 36 points and three athletes in the Top 10. Luis Duarte ’29 was the individual winner in a sprint finish in a 5k course-record time of 16:13. Jack Iannuci ’27 and Cooper McCloskey ’27 were also on the podium by placing fourth and seventh, respectively. Following their impressive victory, the team celebrated with a photo taken by Regis Jesuit's Jesuit Community Superior and Chaplain, Fr. Gary Menard, SJ, who traveled to Salida to cheer on and support the Raiders. His presence made the achievement even more memorable as the team capped off a successful day of competition.
Way to go, Raiders!
