We are a Catholic, Jesuit, college preparatory high school serving nearly 1700 young men and women in grades 9-12 in becoming Men and Women with and for Others.
With nearly 150 years of history behind us, we are a Roman Catholic educational community rooted firmly in the nearly 500-year-old model of Jesuit education, leading the way in preparing students for the 21st century.
Our unique educational model combines the advantages of single-sex instruction with opportunities for young men and women to collaborate, serve, pray and socialize together to form the whole person—mind, body and spirit.
The strength of Regis Jesuit is found in the depth and diversity of its broad community of students, parents and alumni who strengthen and share their gifts through a lifelong Raider experience.
The transformational student experience has been developed thanks to a long tradition of generous philanthropic support of our enduring educational mission.
Today was filled with connection, we learned how to connect with new people, prepare food, and become open about what we learned this week.
Today started with heading to high point and going into our assigned rooms for the day. We had a great day helping feed, sit with, and be present with the clients at HighPointe. Many people in our group have been in one classroom for the majority of the trip, and today the majority of the group got to help out in a new classroom, which not only helped to serve the clients with their needs, but teach us how to connect with even more ranges of disabilities across the facility.
After our day at HighPointe, we came back to the house and started on dinner. We spent around an hour and a half preparing dinner for the family dinner at the end of the night. We learned house to make Tortellini Soup, prepare pasta, and fry chicken. We presented some of our favorite stories from the week to everyone and talk about some of the great things we experienced throughout the week.
The plan for tomorrow is to tour the Olympic training facility down in Colorado Springs and spend the day saying some of our final goodbyes to some of the inspiring people we have met this week
