Congratulations to the two members of the Girls Varsity Basketball Team on earning recognition on this year's Denver Post All-Colorado Girls Basketball Team. Athletes were chosen based on their overall statistics and performance in the State Tournament. Chosen as one of the top five Colorado athletes selected to the team, Hana Belibi '24 was selected for her outstanding scoring and rebounding performance this season. In addition, Coryn Watts '24, another superstar for the Raiders who helped the team advance to the State Finals, was recognized by earning Honorable Mention honors.

As a highlight to an already impressive 2023-24 season in which the team was runners-up at State, three members of the Girls Varsity Basketball Team earned several post-season honors in recognition of their strong performance in the playoffs. Congratulations to Hana Belibi '24, selected to the 2023-24 All-State and All-Continental League First Teams and chosen as the Continental League Player of the Year. In addition, Belibi earned a spot on the Colorado Preps 6A All-Coliseum Team along with teammates Coryn Watts '24, who earned First Team All-Continental League and Second Team All-State recognition. Jane Rumpf '24 was selected to the All-Continental League Second Team. Way to go, Raiders!

Congratulations to the seventh-seeded Girls Varsity Basketball Team on a spectacular season and great run in the CHSAA Class 6A State Championships, finishing their season as State Runners-Up! Despite strong efforts by the team and a game-high 26 points by Hana Belibi '24, the team fell to No. 4 Valor Christian 58-44 in the State Finals at the Denver Coliseum on March 9.

Congratulations to the seventh-seeded Girls Varsity Basketball Team on their huge and literal last-second 54-53 win against No. 3 Legend High School in the 2024 Class 6A State Semifinals on March 7 at the Denver Coliseum. In their first State Championship appearance since 2021, the Raiders will face rival and fourth-seeded Valor Christian in the State Finals TOMORROW, March 9 at 1:15 p.m. Get your tickets to the game, wear red and white and pack the stands. Let's go Raiders!

Congratulations to the No. 7 Girls Varsity Basketball Team on downing No. 2 Cherry Creek 50-44 in the Quarterfinals on February 29 at the Denver Coliseum, earning a spot in the CHSAA 6A State Final Four. Coryn Watts '24 led the team with 17 points, followed by Hana Belibi '24 with 11. The Raiders advance to the Semifinals where they will take on No. 3 Legend High School next Thursday, March 7 at 7:15 pm. This is the team's first appearance in the Semifinals since 2021. The seventh-seeded Girls Varsity Basketball Team is headed to the second round of the Class 6A State Tournament after defeating No. 26 Eaglecrest 53-34 in its first-round matchup on Tuesday, February 20. The team, which went 16-7 in the regular season, will face No. 23 Denver East on home court TONIGHT, February 23 at 6:00 pm. Come out and pack the stands to cheer on your Raiders!

Congratulations to Girls Varsity Basketball's Hana Belibi '24 on her nomination to the girls roster for the 2024 annual McDonald’s All-American Games. She was selected as one of 724 boys and girls players across the US to be selected to play in the games scheduled for April 2 at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. Another Raider, her sister Fran '19, was selected to play in the 2019 games.
