GIRLS WRESTLING CROWNS FIRST-EVER STATE CHAMPION
Congratulations to Girls Wrestling's Remington Zimmerer '27 on her historic win in the 120-pound weight class at this year's Class 5A State Tournament on February 7-8 at Ball Arena. Her win marks the first-ever State title for the program, which began at Regis Jesuit during the 2019-20 school year. Down one point with just 40 seconds remaining in the Championship Title matchup, Zimmerer scored a three-point takedown against Widefield's Amaya Hinojosa to garner the big win. Making this unprecedented win even more special for Head Coach Zach Zimmerer, is that he also happens to be Remi's father.Read More

GIRLS WRESTLING ADVANCES TO STATE
Congratulations to the Girls Wrestling Team on a strong performance at the Class 5A Girls Regional Tournament on February 7-8 at Poudre High School in Fort Collins. Six wrestlers finished in the Top Six in their respective weight classes adding to the team's strong ninth-place finish. Four wrestlers earned bids to the Class 5A State Tournament on February 13-15 at Ball Arena—the largest delegation to compete at State for the Raiders since the program's inception—led by Remington Zimmerer '27 who won the Regional Championship in her weight class. STRONG PERFORMANCES FOR BOYS AND GIRLS WRESTLING
Read MoreCongratulations to the Boys and Girls Varsity Wrestling Teams on their strong performances at recent tournaments in late January. The boys team took fifth place at the Continental League Championships on January 25 held at Legend High School, led by Richard Avila '26 who was the runner-up in the 113-pound weight class. On the same day, the girls team competed in the Warhorse Invitational at Chatfield High School claiming 13th place out of more than 35 teams competing at the event. A shoutout to champion Remington Zimmerer '27 who won her division! The teams also celebrated seven additional top-six finishes. We are proud of you, Raiders!

GIRLS WRESTLING TAKES SECOND AND EARNS THREE CHAMPIONSHIPS AT BENNETT TIGER INVITATIONAL
Congratulations to the Girls Varsity Wrestling Team which placed second out of 22 teams at the seventh annual Bennett Tiger Women's Invitational on January 4. GIRLS WRESTLING COMPETES AT EAGLECREST INVITATIONAL
Read MoreCongratulations to the Girls Wrestling Team on their strong performance at the Eaglecrest Invitational on December 13 where they faced many of the top teams in the state. The team placed 18th out of 37 teams and had three wrestlers earn Top 10 finishes in their respective weight classes. In addition, the team celebrated a 36-30 win against rival Ponderosa this week as well as first wins for several new wrestlers including Evy Vera '28, Corrine Bludeau '28 and Anai Vera '25. WRESTLING COMPETES AT ARAPAHOE WARRIOR INVITATIONAL
Congratulations to the Boys and Girls Wrestling Teams on their strong performance at the Arapahoe Warrior Invitational on December 7 at Arapahoe High School. The boys team placed second out of 17 teams and the girls team placed 10th out of 21 teams. A huge shoutout to Remington Zimmerer '27 who took home the win in her division and also to the new wrestlers on both teams who are learning quickly and putting up points for the teams.
