BOYS WRESTLING SHINES IN RECENT TOURNAMENTS

Congratulations to the Boys Wrestling Team on their outstanding performances in two recent contests, competing against deep and talented fields across the region. The team went undefeated at the Bennett Scramble Duals on January 2, with Gavin Anderson '26, Richard Avila '26, Leonardo Landini '28, David Rodriguez '28 and Lafe Sarjeant '27 each going undefeated at the tournament. The team went on to place third at the Smoky Hill Buffalo Invitational on January 3, while only fielding nine of 14 weight classes. Avila, Dane Anderson '26 and Aidan Sullivan '27 each won their respective weight classes.

A huge shoutout to Avila, who earned his 100th career victory during his first match of the tournament, a remarkable milestone and a testament to his dedication, resilience and leadership. Way to go, Richy!
