We are a Catholic, Jesuit, college preparatory high school serving nearly 1700 young men and women in grades 9-12 in becoming Men and Women with and for Others.
With nearly 150 years of history behind us, we are a Roman Catholic educational community rooted firmly in the nearly 500-year-old model of Jesuit education, leading the way in preparing students for the 21st century.
Our unique educational model combines the advantages of single-sex instruction with opportunities for young men and women to collaborate, serve, pray and socialize together to form the whole person—mind, body and spirit.
The strength of Regis Jesuit is found in the depth and diversity of its broad community of students, parents and alumni who strengthen and share their gifts through a lifelong Raider experience.
The transformational student experience has been developed thanks to a long tradition of generous philanthropic support of our enduring educational mission.
We are excited to welcome Mary Stephenson as the new Girls Flag Football Head Coach at Regis Jesuit. Mary brings a strong combination of coaching experience, educational leadership and program-building vision to our flag football program. She currently serves as a varsity assistant girls flag football coach at ThunderRidge High School, where she has played a key role in defensive coordination and fundraising, and brings previous head coaching experience from her time leading highly successful boys and girls swim programs at the high school level.
In addition to her coaching background, Mary is an accomplished educator, currently teaching in Englewood Public Schools and pursuing advanced degrees in Educational Administration and Special Education. Her work in the classroom clearly informs her coaching philosophy, one that emphasizes preparation, accountability, confidence-building and care for the whole student-athlete.
Mary is passionate about building a positive, competitive and mission-aligned program, not only during the fall season but throughout the year. She is committed to off-season development, strong relationships with families and athletes and creating a culture where our girls feel supported, challenged and proud to represent Regis Jesuit.
We are thrilled to welcome Mary to the RJ community and look forward to the leadership, energy and care she will bring to the Girls Flag Football program.
Please join me in welcoming Coach Stephenson to Regis Jesuit.
