CHEER TEAM COMPETES AT NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS

Congratulations to the Varsity Cheer Team, which made program history at the Division I National School Spirit Championships in Orlando, FL, on February 6-8, placing 11th out of 43 teams in the highly competitive Small Varsity Game Day division. The team also competed in the Small Varsity Division I Performance category amongst a deep field of 113 teams. This marks the first time in program history that Regis Jesuit advanced to the final round at nationals—a significant milestone for the team!
The three-day national event featured three rounds of competition and brought together top teams from across the country. Over the course of the championship, the team performed four times across three days of competition, delivering consistent and confident routines with zero deductions throughout the entire event.

Qualification for the National School Spirit Championships requires teams to compete and earn a top score at a regional competition. The team secured its bids in both categories back in November. The team is led by four seniors, including captains Finley Bell '26 and Mia Bella Chilcott '26, whose leadership and commitment have helped elevate the program to new heights.

Congratulations to the girls and coaches on a record-setting season!
