At 7:15 we all met in a big circle outside of TSA and we did a prayer that sent us on our way. We made it through security more efficiently than expected and after a walk to our gate we had some time to eat breakfast. We were all pretty tired, though we were excited to proceed to a new destination. After the plane we picked up the rental cars stopped for a quick lunch, before we started our 3-hour road trip to Auxier, KY. During the ride we became familiar with one another and bonded through singing along to music and playing games. When we finally made it to our site, Hand in Hand Ministries, we ate dinner and went through orientation. We are currently staying in a retreat center that was once an old school house dating back in 1927. There is game room here which we are all currently playing uno and Joe put on a Dog's Purpose on the DVD player. We are excited for the future adventures that await us!
