BOYS WRESTLING HEAD COACH CARABALLO CROWNED NATIONAL CHAMPION

Congratulations to Boys Wrestling Head Coach Kevin Caraballo, who competed at the USA Wrestling Folkstyle Masters National Championship in Des Moines, Iowa, from March 12–15. Navigating an exceptionally competitive field, Coach Caraballo captured the Masters National Championship title at 70kg. This achievement marks the first National Championship in the history of the Regis Jesuit Wrestling program.
The accomplishment was made even more meaningful as Coach Caraballo was guided by his father, Tony, who served as his coach for the event—something they had not shared in more than 18 years. This championship also represented Coach Caraballo’s return to competition following recent orthopedic surgeries, overcoming uncertainty about whether he would be able to wrestle competitively again.

Congratulations to Coach Caraballo on this remarkable achievement. We are proud to have him leading our wrestling program, by example, with resilience, determination and excellence.
