TWO GREAT RAIDERS RANK IN THE TOP 50 MOST INFLUENTIAL WOMEN IN COLORADO SPORTS HISTORY

Congratulations to Great Raiders Missy Franklin '13 and Fran Belibi '19 on being recognized as two of the top most influential women in Colorado sports history. Honoring the 50th anniversary of the passage of Title IX, The Denver Post ranked the top 50 female athletes in Colorado based on the combination of their athletic achievement and impact on women’s athletics. Franklin, topping the chart in second place, is a five-time Olympic gold medalist in swimming and former world record holder in the 200-meter backstroke. Belibi, placing 10th, is going into her senior year at Stanford, where she earned the national NCAA Women's Basketball Championship title in 2021 and continues to dominate on the court. You make us proud, Great Raiders!
