STAN CUBA '66 PENS BIOGRAPHY ON ARTIST PAUL KONTY

Another Great Raider has a book coming out early next year. Stan Cuba '66, who is the associate consulting curator (and former associate curator) of the Kirkland Museum of Fine & Decorative Art in Denver, wrote a biography of artist Paul Kontny. Born in Poland, Kontny escaped WWII and made his way to Denver where he expressed his keen observations in works on paper, sculptures and in oils using a signature technique. Paul Kontny: A Modern Artist in Europe and America will be released in March 2023. Cuba also authored an illustrated history of the Denver Artists Guild published by History Colorado in 2015.
