BOYS BASEBALL ENDS STATE CHAMPIONSHIP BID IN LOSS TO CHEROKEE TRAIL

The hunt for the State trophy came to an end for No. 3 Boys Varsity Baseball Team as they fell 1-0 to the 25th-seeded Cherokee Trail Cougars in the 5A State Championship third-round consolation game. Just a single run was scored in seven innings on June 2 at All-Star Park. Pitchers Jack Carey '23 and Luke Reasbeck '25 both executed from the mound for the Raiders, but the team was unable to convert their two hits into runs scored to garner the win. The Raiders finished 2-2 in the tournament and with an impressive 20-9 overall record on the season. Congratulations to Coach Matt Darr and the team on an excellent season.
